  • Around one hour less rework per day

  • Standardized, legally secure documentation for the joint practice

  • Consultation duration is automatically documented in each file, the basis for the time-based codes of the new GOÄ

"I actually didn't want to do without it anymore."

Initial situation: Document in detail under high time pressure

Before Sikia, Mr. Taubert documented classically in the PVS. He typed even during or after the conversation, often using text modules and his own abbreviations.

"I typed with the two-finger system and worked a lot with text modules."

The biggest challenge was balancing time and detail.

"The greatest challenge was to document sufficiently detailed within the short time."

Why other systems have not convinced

Mr. Taubert had already tested other AI-supported documentation solutions before Sikia, including internal offerings of his PVS.
However, for him, it was not only the quality of the AI that mattered, but also the integration into the existing system.

"The integration of the other systems was not as seamless and not as effective."

The transfer to the PVS was cumbersome and partly unclear. There was no real time gain from this.

"If there is nothing in the file after a long day, I look at the transcript, and then I remember again."

Looking ahead: the new GOÄ

As a GOÄ expert, Dr. Cirugeda-Kühnert takes billing to the next level. The new fee schedule introduces time-based consultation codes and defined complexity surcharges—significantly more codes than anyone could possibly memorize. This is precisely where she sees the potential:

"What I think is great is the documentation of the call duration. That goes into every file, and we'll need that in the future."

Your expectation: a system that recognizes and suggests the appropriate codes directly from the conversation.

"I'm hoping for a lot from that in the future."

Recommendation

"The quality of the AI is impressive. The difference comes from the integration into the PVS."
